Being the only accommodation finalist in NSW for Dynamic Support Services is an incredible honour. It shows how much we care about creating safe, welcoming spaces where participants feel supported and can live as independently as possible.
It has been an incredibly rewarding experience to be part of Dynamic Support Services as a finalist for the Best Accommodation Award in 2024. We are proud to be part of a team dedicated to providing person-centred care and support to our community's most vulnerable people.

Despite the ups and downs of my job, victories like this one make it all worthwhile! I'm over the moon to share a heartwarming success story that truly touched my soul. Meet client x, a remarkable individual who has shown incredible resilience and progress in his journey towards independence. Client x's story began as my very first transition out of aged care client. Taking over his case from another support coordinator, I was immediately struck by the challenges he faced after spending over 15 years in an aged care facility. The lack of clear medical reasoning behind his prescribed medication left us questioning the system's effectiveness. In mid-2022, Client x took a significant step towards reclaiming his independence by moving to a Dynamic Support Services house. However, his fear of returning to the aged care environment led to a prolonged refusal to board any motor vehicle for nearly 14 months. Despite these initial challenges, Client x has made remarkable strides in his journey towards community integration and independence. My passion lies in advocating for individuals like client x, empowering them to break free from the constraints of aged care facilities and live life to the fullest. Today, I received the most heartening update yet—client x ventured to the beach in Wollongong for the very first time! The sheer happiness captured in his photos and the progress he has made brought tears to my eyes. Witnessing client x gradually embrace new experiences fills my heart with immense joy and reinforces the importance of the work I do. It's moments like these that remind me why I chose this path and motivate me to continue striving for positive change. Here's to many more victories ahead!

I have engaged with Dynamic Support Services (DSS) for over a year now supporting NDIS participants to access Short Term Accommodation (STA) at their site in Sydney Olympic Park. A core role of my position as a Support Coordinator is to offer choice and provide options for an array of services for my clients who are living with severe and persistent mental health issues. However, due to the consistency of prompt and professional interactions I have experienced with DSS, the clean, modern and state of the art STA facilities (which has been reinforced with feedback from the participants who have accessed their STA), DSS is at the top of the list for flexible and recovery orientated STA service provision.

I have been accessing Dynamic Support Services for around 4 years now for STA. I always receive the absolute best support from not only the support workers whom support me for my stay, but all DSS staff including management. The apartments at Olympic Park are situated perfectly for myself as I attend events regularly at Olympic Park, they are so comfortable and extremely clean. DSS assist me with not only being able to attend my events but also with meals and transportation throughout Sydney. I feel right at home from the moment of being picked up and dropped back off to go back home. I actually travel a long way to get to my STA but it is absolutely well worth it, all support workers always go above and beyond to cater for my needs. I must make special mention to Shenna, as she is so professional in everything she does. I highly recommend Dynamic Support Services to anyone, you won’t be disappointed. I always look forward to coming back
