Our Therapeutic Model
What is the ARC Framework?
At Dynamic Support Services, we embrace the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) Framework, a therapeutic model designed to support individuals who have experienced complex trauma. This evidence-based approach focuses on addressing the core areas impacted by trauma, helping individuals build resilience and achieve positive outcomes.
The ARC Framework is a flexible, components-based intervention that works with individuals and their caregiving systems. It is grounded in four key areas of study:
- Normative Development: Understanding typical patterns of growth and development.
- Traumatic Stress: Recognising the impact of prolonged or repeated trauma.
- Attachment: Exploring the importance of safe and secure relationships.
- Risk and Resilience: Identifying factors that contribute to recovery and adaptability.
