SDA is designed for individuals with significant disabilities who require specialist housing solutions. These homes are built to be accessible, safe, and tailored to the needs of high-needs participants. SDA properties may include:
- Purpose-built apartments in mixed developments.
- Modified free-standing houses.
The NDIS ensures that SDA homes are not just buildings but true homes, with a focus on quality of life. To maintain this standard, SDA homes are limited to between 1 and 5 residents per dwelling.
What We Offer
How SDA Funding works
The NDIS provides funding for reasonable and necessary supports, including accommodation for eligible participants. During the planning process, participants can discuss their housing needs with an NDIS representative. If SDA is deemed necessary, an assessment will be conducted to determine eligibility and funding.
