Respite
What is Respite Care?
Our therapeutic respite program provides NDIS participants with both planned and emergency short-term support in a safe and supportive environment. Respite not only supports participants to build independence, develop daily living skills, and enjoy a change of scenery, but also gives families and carers peace of mind and a well-deserved break from their caring role.
Respite care can:
- Support the development of independence.
- Improve overall well-being.
- Encourage community connection and a sense of belonging.
- Assist participants in working towards their goals.
- Provide carers with time to rest, recharge, and focus on their own wellbeing.
Accommodation, Meals & Activities
Respite Care Services
Our Short Term Accommodation provides a safe, supportive environment where participants can enjoy time apart from their informal supports while continuing to receive the disability‑related assistance they need. STA with Dynamic Support Services is designed to maintain routines, build independence, and support wellbeing, all in line with the updated NDIS guidelines.
Participants stay in comfortable accommodation and receive personalised support with daily living, community access, and meaningful activities. While activity and food costs are no longer funded under STA, our accommodation (respite apartments) in Sydney Olympic Park offers a range of free on-site facilities, including a gym, indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, and a barbecue area.
We tailor every stay to the participant’s needs, preferences, and NDIS goals, ensuring the experience is empowering, enjoyable, and supportive for both the participant and their family. Our team is committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred respite that helps sustain informal supports and promotes positive outcomes.
